Apple is expanding its Self Service Repair program to include the iPhone 15 lineup and Mac models powered by the M2 lineup. This expansion also includes 24 additional European countries, allowing more users to access the program. Additionally, Apple has launched Apple Diagnostics for Self Service Repair in the U.S., with plans to expand to Europe next year. This tool allows users with the knowledge and expertise to test their devices for optimal part functionality and performance.

Self Service Repair, launched in April 2022, provides access to manuals, genuine Apple parts, and tools used at Apple Store and Apple Authorized Service Provider locations for individuals with relevant experience repairing electronic devices. However, for users without experience in repairing electronic devices, it is recommended to visit a professional Apple Authorized Service Provider with certified technicians who use genuine Apple parts, designed and tested to internationally recognized standards. Apple has nearly doubled the number of service locations with access to genuine Apple parts, tools, and training over the past three years, including more than 4,500 Independent Repair Providers and a global network of over 5,000 Apple Authorized Service Providers supporting more than 100,000 active technicians.
