Apple has unveiled the winners of the 2023 App Store Awards. There are 14 winners in total, with apps and games recognized for empowering users, demonstrating technical innovation, and providing meaningful experiences. Additionally, five Cultural Impact winners were honored for their ability to drive positive change through inclusivity, sustainability, and self-reflection. The App Store Editors also identified the trend of the year, focusing on the integration of generative AI in apps. The App Store, home to 1.8 million apps and visited by over 650 million weekly visitors, is an engine of global economic growth, facilitating $1.1 trillion in developer billings and sales in 2022.
